Sukie also joined the practice as a director in 2001. In 2019 she began working for Woodhouse Opticians full time as a practice manager. Sukie specialises in championing the practice’s continued sustainability journey, also acting as the Strategic Sustainability Lead for SightCare Services. Thanks to her degree in Art History from the University of Northumbria is a pro at helping patients choose their perfect pair of glasses. Sukie has also been a SightCare board member for five years, is a school governor of three separate governing bodies, and was the chair of the BFN for five years; if anyone knows leadership, it’s Sukie.
