Design eye safety poster and win sunglasses
The longer days are finally here and – hopefully – also the better weather.
And while we’re all looking forward to spending more time outdoors, there are some simple health tips we should all follow when in the sun. That includes wearing sunglasses to protect our eyes from harmful UV rays.
Eyes of all ages need protection. Shield your child’s eyes with sunglasses that meet the British Standard (BSEN 1836:2005) and carry the ‘CE’ mark. Check the label or ask a registered dispensing optician like us for advice.
To help, we’ve got a great design competition for two to 10-year-olds in which we’re offering some cool prizes that will protect young eyes.
The winner gets to choose a pair of these fab-looking, polarised children’s sunglasses. Each pair not only looks great but offers 100% UV protection.
We’d like to have a fantastic, bright, colourful poster to go up in our practice that tells all our patients about the importance of wearing sunglasses with UV protection in bright weather.
So come on, inspire us! We’d love to see your designs. You can drop them through our letterbox, or email to info@woodhouseopticians.co.uk or send on Facebook Messenger. We don’t mind how it gets here, just show us your creativity! Entries by May 18 please.
