We believe that businesses should be part of the communities they serve.

That’s why we’re happy to be involved in supporting others in as many ways as we can.

In 2022 and 2023 we worked with Home-Start Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre, a charity which is a part of our community and supports the people of this town and the surrounding area through their toughest times.

And in 2024, we’re supporting CRY Cardiac Risk in the Young, which offers help and support to those affected by young sudden cardiac death.

Instead of charging for the small repairs service we offer, we’ll encourage those who want to, to make a donation to the charity. There’s a collection box in the practice for this – and for anyone else who wants to help.

We’re also committee members of Highfield Business Group which is working hard to ensure the area remains a bustling, busy and caring part of Blackpool. Pre-Covid our annual Christmas ‘Mingle & Jingle’ was a highlight on the calendar. As well as being a great way to bring Father and Mother Christmas to South Shore it also raised more than £2,000 for Heartbeat NWCC .

Previously our optometrist Stephen has joined sleep outs on the streets of Blackpool to raise awareness and much needed funds for the fantastic work of charity Streetlife. We’ve also raised money for head injury charity Headway and our patients helped us with a donation of goods to Blackpool’s Amazing Graze community cafe.

We’re also members of the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, which represents around 1,600 businesses in the county. Looking forward to making some new connections and being involved.

And we’re always looking to link with other businesses offering great services, like our friends at Always Ear, who provide professional and friendly private audiology services to Fylde Coast residents.
